The 2027 Brisbane Truck Show dates have been confirmed for May 20-23, 2027 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The 2027 show will be the 60th anniversary of the event, first staged in 1968 when 21 exhibitors showcased their wares at Haulmark Trailers’ premises at Ipswich Road, Rocklea.

Almost six decades on, the Brisbane Truck Show now ranks as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and the biggest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere, with the 2025 show attracting a record-breaking 54,790 attendees, smashing the previous high of 42,855 set in 2023.

The 2025 Brisbane Truck Show featured more than 36,000 square metres of exhibitions of the latest trucks, trailers, parts and accessories and related technologies across all three levels of the BCEC – the only event to fill out the entire venue.

Beyond the BCEC, Truck Week 25 extended the show into a hugely successful week-long festival of all things trucking including the Silverback National Show ‘N’ Shine at Little Stanley Street, The Depot Careers Hub at TAFE Queensland’s South Bank Campus, the Heritage Truck Show at Rocklea Showgrounds, and the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

“What started back in 1968 as an event to connect members with their customers has become much more than that – a week-long festival of all things trucking,” says Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) CEO Todd Hacking.

“Amazingly, it now ranks as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and there are so many other events that run alongside the Truck Show that make it a compelling opportunity for everyone to get together in Brisbane every two years – as evidenced by this year’s eye-popping attendance.”

Todd says the 2027 show promises to be bigger and better than ever – a challenging goal considering the 2025 event was lauded as the “best ever”.

A range of new activations are in the works alongside the new Show ‘N’ Shine and The Depot displays introduced in 2025.
