JAC has announced the expansion of its brand into new regions with the addition of six new locations. Five of these locations are full Ute dealerships offering sales and servicing, while a service-only location has been added in Wellington.

This expansion coincides with strengthened truck support from Southpac Trucks, JAC's ‘sister’ organisation. Southpac Trucks has been providing servicing support for JAC Trucks nationwide and will now also handle sales in both the North and South Islands.

The new Ute sales locations are: Whangarei: Tristram Northland, Gisborne: Alan Berry Motors, Palmerston North: Palmfeild Motors, Levin: HMC Levin, Dunedin: Gilmour Motors, Wellington Servicing: Saxton Autos

Andrew Craw, General Manager of JAC New Zealand, said, "We're stoked to welcome the new dealership teams to the JAC. The 'JAC Of All Trades' premium-Chinese brand made a strong debut in New Zealand earlier this year with the launch of its T9 Ute. Since then, the brand has expanded with the T9 Ute now available across 11 sales locations nationwide. JAC has also made its mark on New Zealand's community, serving as the official vehicle sponsor of Fieldays and backing food-rescue charity KiwiHarvest.
