Kenworth dialled up some new number designation numbers for its display at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show which opened yesterday.

Regarded as the largest heavy commercial vehicle expo in the Southern Hemisphere – the biennial show is expected to attract more than 40,000 attendees during its run through till Sunday at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

NRC supports Time of Use Charging to fix traffic congestion at Select Committee

This week James Smith, NRC GM of Policy & Advocacy and I appeared at the Transport & Infrastructure Select Committee to discuss our submission on ‘Time of Use Charging’.

Time of use charging is jargon for congestion charging, where vehicles are charged a fee to use a transport network or enter a cordoned area at peak times. Freight sector concerned about key driver issues

Health, safety and wellbeing are big concerns for the road freight industry, a major survey of the sector has found.

The 2025 National Road Freight Industry Survey of 194 industry participants across 128 road freight businesses was run by Research NZ on behalf of advocacy group Transporting New Zealand. The survey was also promoted by the New Zealand Heavy Haulage Association and Groundspread NZ and represents the most extensive industry snapshot in more than a decade.

IVECO is taking part in the Tour d’Europe 2025 - an initiative involving the entire European automotive value chain, with over 20 partners - aimed at raising awareness about the role of renewable fuels in achieving climate neutrality by 2050, as outlined in the European Green Deal.
